Show Push at Kush

Monday night marked Piper McKenzie’s first-ever pre-show benefit party, which we really should have called the Babylon Babylon Benefit Benefit, but what can you do. Over 50 people came to Kush Lounge on the Lower East Side to eat, drink, smoke hookahs (legally!) and be entertained by a bevy of talented friends and colleagues.

Ken Stein (Runs With Scissors Photography), documented the affair: a sampling ensues.
.
Hope Cartelli (ain’t she cute?)
.
A meeting of the Michaels (Criscuolo and Gardner).

Angela Lewonczyk appears unimpressed with Rasha Zamamiri’s hookah.
.
Men with beards: Art Wallace and Robert Pinnock.
.
Adam Swiderski sings and songwrites.
.
Cousin Hubie works the room.
.
Two-fisted Danny Bowes!
.
A rare and deadly live appearance by Bill “the Yeti” Yetison.
.
An even rarer appearance from Professor Chupacabra (Humanities Dept.).
.
And Amantha dances the night away.
.
Thank you to all who participated in the party! The proceeds will enable us to go out and do more drinking. Or maybe to put on the best possible show we can. Okay, we’ll go with the second one.
